Themed Open Program Every Saturday
Every Saturday from 10 am – 4pm we are hosting themed program for all annual or day pass holders to enjoy! The Rock Wall, archery and BB range are open all day to enjoy as oftern as you like. Every saturday we have a different theme and base on that them we have activities for all campers to enjoy.
Color Fun Run
November 30th, 9 am – 12 pm
The Sixth Annual GNYC Color Fun Run will take place on Saturday, November 30th at Alpine Scout Camp! Get splashed with colored powder throughout your run through the camp and as you cross the finish line with friends and family. All family members ages 5+ are welcome to participate in the run.
Cub Scout Winter Fest
February 7th – 9th
Join us for our first ever Cub Scout Winter Fest! All scouts will enjoy a fun filled weekend of winter fun.Completing several adventure pins, going outdoors for some winter games, cope & board games, winter crafts, video game tournament and so much more.
Merit Badge Workshops
Every Saturday
Alpine Scout Camp will play host to several different merit badge classevery saturday to help your Scouts advance! Preregistration is required for all classes at least one week in advance. See our Calendar for all up coming classes.
STEM Camp
During Spring Break Week, Scouts wishing to keep their brains in high gear (and possibly earn a NOVA Award) can come to STEM Camp. Work with our staff of amateur science whizzes and a cadre of outside professionals on a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math merit badges and activites. Cost is just $350 per youth ($325 for annual passholders). Open to Scouts BSA and Venturers.
Climb the Night Away
Climb the Night Away is a lock-in style event featuring Climbing and Cope activities as well as games, movies, and a pizza party. Event is May 4th, 10pm-6am, and is an Open House style event for all Scouts BSA and Venturers. LIMITED TO 40 SCOUTS. Each participant will receive a headlamp and patch. $45 per person ($38 Annual Passholder).
National Youth Leadership Training – N.Y.L.T.
Give your Scout, Venturer or Sea Scout the opportunity to work, live and play together as they put into action the best Scouting has to offer. This is a six day course that centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, what he or she must KNOW and what he or she must DO. NYLT integrates the best of modern leadership theory with the traditional strengths of the Scouting experience.
